Museums in Lanzarote

If you are looking for a change from hanging out at the beach, this is it! We have compiled infos and links to fun and interesting museums across Lanzarote.

Wine Museum
EL Grifo Wine Museum & Vineyard
The most visited museum in Lanzarote is the Wine Museum near San Bartolomé. It is part of  El Grifo Winery which is one of the 10 oldest vineyards of Spain. Why not take a tour of the old cellars with it´s original 18th century machinery, then shop for a liquid souvenir and take a look at the vineyard with it´s unique cultivation system. The grape vines are planted on volcanic soil surrounded by walls of volcanic rock to ward of the heavy winds.
